We are saddened to announce the upcoming closure of Rubbin’ Butts BBQ. The building landlord would not renew our lease. Instead they are allowing the previous occupant to open a new business. Our pleas to continue the lease were not accepted.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We’d like to express our sincere apologies for this sudden and disappointing news. More importantly, we want to thank each of you for your incredible support. From our regular diners who became like family, to everyone who supported us and recommended us to a friend, you made Rubbin’ Butts BBQ what it is – a true family. Serving this community has been the privilege of a lifetime.
Date Closing: We are under normal operating hours until June 7th
What’s Next: Many of you have asked if we plan to relocate. While we would truly love nothing more than to open up another barbecue restaurant and continue serving this community, the current economic climate makes that impossible. With today’s high inflation rates and the staggering cost of commercial kitchen equipment, taking on a new buildout is simply not in our family’s cards right now.
Thank you again for the loyalty, the laughs, and the memories. We hope to see you one last time before we officially close our doors.
