I am the owner of Velvet Couch Hospitality Group based in Louisville, Kentucky. We, along with Amber Odle, the event planner for the City of Shepherdsville and Bullitt County Tourism are hosting an event called Taste of Bullitt County in September 20, 2026 at the Paroquet Springs Convention Center (see flyer below). We will have over 40 restaurants, food trucks and bakers all in once place for the attendees to taste the best that Bullitt County has to offer.

Taste of Bullitt County is Coming!
Get ready to experience the best flavors Bullitt County has to offer while supporting an incredible cause. Join us on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Paroquet Springs Conference Centre for the Taste of Bullitt County, presented by Gordon Food Service (GFS).
Your ticket includes an afternoon of:
- Sampling delicious signature dishes from Bullitt County’s favorite local restaurants and food trucks
- Meeting and supporting our amazing local culinary businesses
- A special guest presentation by Dan Oliver, Founder of Dan-O’s Seasoning, as he shares the inspiring story behind one of Kentucky’s fastest-growing brands.
- Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Bullitt County Public Schools
