If you haven’t already, you’ll want to make plans this Saturday to attend the local TEDx event sponsored by Grasshoppers Distributors.
TEDx is taking place this Saturday, February 12th in New York City and is being streamed live to select locations around the country. The focus of TEDx is to create discussion on the topic, Changing The Way We Eat!
Thanks to the folks at Grasshoppers, you don’t have to fly to NYC to be apart of this spectacular event. It’s as easy as finding Frazier Hall on the campus of Bellarmine University. The event will begin at 10 am and includes the Live Webcast, a FREE brown bag lunch (RSVP today for a lunch by sending an email to thefarmer@grasshoppersdistribution.com) and a special farmers market. For a complete webcast schedule, visit the TEDx Manhattan website. As an added bonus, Mayor Greg Fischer will be there to share his thoughts on the local food scene.
I’ll see you this Saturday and don’t forget to take a moment and thank your hosts Stephen Reily, Emily Bingham, Ellen McGeeney and Ivor Chodkowski for bringing TEDx to Louisville.
