Cocktails & Dreams: Catching up with Drink Diva Jennifer Brian

Last year, I had the fortune of hanging out with a true cocktail queen. Louisville native Jennifer Brian, who has been working in the hospitality industry for 25+ years, launched her first book in September, aptly titled “Classic Cocktail Revival.”

She knows cocktails like I know bars, and if you want even more proof, Brian is the brain behind Make & Muddle, a line of craft syrups designed to help you make better cocktails at home.

BB: How do you make an Old Fashioned using Make & Muddle?

JB: Our Make & Muddle 7 Syrup makes a money-back-guarantee best bourbon Old Fashioned you have ever had. Seven spices bring all the warm baking spices to the party, and the three different sugars give it an added depth. We also have a new Smoked Persimmon syrup that was released at...Read more
