LOUISVILLE, KY— February 18, 2020 – USA Cares is kicking off 2020 by presenting its first Rise Up & Shine breakfast on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at the beautiful, newly renovated Galt House in downtown Louisville. This event will provide an excellent platform to educate and inspire our community members about the valuable services USA Cares provides for service members, veterans, and their families.
USA Cares’ mission is to provide post-9/11 military veterans, service members, and their families with emergency financial assistance and post-service skills training to create a foundation for long-term stability. By providing these vital services within 48 hours of the initial request and at no cost to the recipient, USA Cares improves the quality of life for veterans and their families and can reduce many potential factors that can contribute to veteran suicide.
