Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux coming to Lewis and Clark Parkway in Clarksville

In college basketball, it takes more players to make a team than typically are eligible for scholarships and assistance as athletes. Consequently the walk-ons are the players who pay their own way because they love it, and are willing play non-glamorous parts in pursuit of a bigger picture.

Two such basketball players at LSU in the late 1990s were Brandon Landry and Jack Warner, who properly understood their roles, became friends, and leveraged their identities as former basketball walk-ons into the first Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Baton Rouge (2003). In 2015, former Purdue University and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees purchased a 25% stake in Walk-On’s, and franchising commenced.

This brings us to the present, and the Clarksville building at 970 E. Lewis and Clark Parkway that formerly housed Juicy Crab and Logan’s Roadhouse, now to become the third Indiana location of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux.
