WBNA, Louisville’s Home for Locally Grown Television, presents Fleur de Film… Kentuckiana’s Independent Film Program. Louisville is becoming a hub for some of the best creative work in film and television. The program will connect viewers to the growing scene by highlighting the producers, actors, directors, and the films they make.
- Fleur de Film will air Saturday evenings 11p– 12midnight
- Repeats several times per week on WBNA Ion 21.1 and RTV 21.4
- The focus will be on local independent filmmakers by highlighting their work. Anything from shorts to features will be presented.
- Rick Redding and cohost will interview the filmmakers and actors during the program.
- Will celebrate Louisville as an up and coming movie-producing center.
- Program’s web component will drive viewers to the film maker’s website for program episodes and film maker’s other content.
- Viewer driven film festival and text voting contest for best films are in the works.
- Will incorporate crowd-funding appeals for the filmmakers to help develop their work.
