WBNA Planning New Show Focused on Louisville KY Filmmakers

WBNA, Louisville’s Home for Locally Grown Television, presents Fleur de Film… Kentuckiana’s Independent Film Program. Louisville is becoming a hub for some of the best creative work in film and Screen Shot 2015-04-11 at 7.56.26 AMtelevision.  The program will connect viewers to the growing scene by highlighting the producers, actors, directors, and the films they make.

  • Fleur de Film will air Saturday evenings 11p– 12midnight
  • Repeats several times per week on WBNA Ion 21.1 and RTV 21.4
  • The focus will be on local independent filmmakers by highlighting their work. Anything from shorts to features will be presented.
  • Rick Redding and cohost will interview the filmmakers and actors during the program.
  • Will celebrate Louisville as an up and coming movie-producing center.
  • Program’s web component will drive viewers to the film maker’s website for program episodes and film maker’s other content.
  • Viewer driven film festival and text voting contest for best films are in the works.
  • Will incorporate crowd-funding appeals for the filmmakers to help develop their work.
