If memory serves, we sang snippets of this song by The Beatles in swing choir during high school. I never really imagined it would apply to me, but resolved that if so, and I somehow lived to the distant and lofty age of 64, there’d need to be a ceremonial playing of the tune — via vinyl? Cassette? 8 Track?

Here we are … and here it is, via a form of media that once was as unimaginable as the attainment of this ancient age.

Given these escalating years, perhaps a complementary encore is Keith Moon’s solo version of “In My Life.”
