Today I’m posting about two not to be missed events for this weekend and next weekend. For a little taste of St James be sure to stop in to the Wild Women Wearable Art Show today and tomorrow at the Marriott Courtyard. Yes, that is the downtown Marriott and well worth the trip! Then in preparation for a First Annual Knit Bomb get your crochet and knitting needles out to participate. See below for details.

If you are a fiber and textile freak like me – mark your calendars and get your knitting needles out. What I think is one of the coolest public art participation projects I have seen in a long time will be happening Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Kentucky School of Art. http://www.kentuckyschoolofart.org/featured/1st-annual-knit-bomb-installation/
You can be a part of this event! Both knitters and crochet folks welcome. They will be knit bombing 23 poles on the Spalding University campus. If you want to be a part of this “Bomb Squad”, call Kasey at Kentucky School of Art. – ext. 4368 or 618-4600.
