WIN FREE TICKETS to Derby City Film Festival

508

Returning to the Clifton Center this Friday, February 17th, and continuing throughout the weekend, the Derby City Film Festival will feature a dizzying 56 films, with 24 international entries representing 16 different countries and another dozen or so with at least some connection to Kentucky. And LouisvilleKY.com wants to send you and a friend to Friday night’s opening festivities for FREE.

At stake are two sets of two tickets for Friday’s screenings, which kick off at 7:00pm and include the premieres of ‘Wid Winner and the Slipstream’ and ‘Sam Steele and the Crystal Chalice’ (both with Kentucky ties), followed by ‘Johnny’s Gone’, a road trip film with a dark secret revolving around an unsettling but heartfelt relationship between Sarah and a two year-old she calls Johnny.

Ready to find out how to become one of the two lucky winners? (Of course you are!) And fortunately you’re just a couple steps away from a chance at grabbing the tickets. Step 1, go over to LouisvilleKY.com’s Facebook Page and show some love by “liking” us. Step 2, find the DCFF post on our wall (most likely at the top) and comment on it. Step 3? There is no step three! Cutoff is this Thursday at noon, at which point two winners will be chosen at random (to each receive two tickets) from all of the commenters. And a special thanks to Kristofer Rommel and everybody at the Derby City Film Festival for making this whole thing possible!

Check out our previous DCFF ’12 preview here, huge news on a lifetime achievement award here and stayed tuned to LouisvilleKY.com for a veritable boatload of coverage throughout the week.

Meanwhile, full details on the 4th annual Derby City Film Festival, including a full schedule and ticketing information are available via the festival’s website.
