Win Here — But You’ll Have to Choose from 107 Films

You think you’re a film buff ? Then you already know about the Louisville International Festival of Film, which this year will screen 107 films during a fabulous five-day run.

The artistic, independently-produced films will be screend at local venues, including the Galt House, Louisville Slugger Museum and Churchill Downs. But it’s not just about the movies — there are “seminars, events and parties designed to provide Kentuckians and industry visitors alike the opportunity to become involved in the future of the Film Industry in Kentucky. We believe that an annual festival will promote Kentucky and Metro Louisville as a destination point for film production drenched in hospitality, arts and culture.”

In addition to Tomlin, celebrities coming to town include Leslie Easterbrook, from Police Academy fame, and stars of a film premiering Friday night — Chris Kattan and Horatio Sanz.

One special event is a special performance by Lily Tomlin on Wednesday at the Brown Theatre.
