Madness is Here in Louisville KY, UK in Action Thursday night: Cards, Hoosiers on Friday afternoon

Time to tune out if you’re not into college hoops. Louisville KY is not the #1 rated market for watching basketball on TV for nothing. The top overall seed, Kentucky, will play late Thursday night in Louisville KY’s KFC Yum! Center. Louisville’s Cardinals are a #4 seed, and open Friday (on TBS) at 4:10 with UC-Irvine’s Anteaters in Seattle. Indiana made the big show as a #10 seed, and play Wichita State in Omaha Friday at 2:45 on CBS. Make your “get-out-of-w0rk” plans now for Friday.

South Region games played here will be a 3/14 contest between Iowa State and Alabama-Birmingham, followed by #11 UCLA and #6 SMU.

Winners from those games play on Saturday. If you’re looking for tickets, you can find them from your friendly neighborhood scalper. Kentucky fans will be dominant at Yum all weekend.

Games will be televised on four stations, so it’s time to find out where on your cable system that TruTV, TNT and TBS are located, along with CBS, WLKY-TV in Louisville. That station gets the highest ratings in the country for the tournament every year.

Here’s a link to the official printable bracket. Best of luck in your office pool.
