Lady Rizo is the alter ego for singer and performance artist Amelia Zirin-Brown, who won a Grammy in 2010 for her work with Yo Yo Ma, and is featured on Moby’s most recent recordings. Friday night I had a seat in the packed house at Joe’s Pub in New York City for Lady Rizo’s mix of sexy song and schtick (complete with a paradoy of the “other Lady’s” PokerFace). Lady Rizo will share the stage with Louisville friends Tyronne Cotton and Graciela Perrone. The show is part of the Spring Motherlodge Live Arts Exchange running March 21-26.
